almost bath time

Isabelle loves bath time, but she also likes to have a little fun before she hops in too!

Izzy's new jumper- and cardio update

Izzy had another visit to the cardiologist today, and they said everything was perfect. She is robo-baby again, wearing the Holter monitor until about 10 tomorrow morning. They basically told us not to worry about checking her weight anymore, and that they will gradually let her outgrow her medicine while keeping an eye on her heartrate. We continue to pray that it will all go smoothly! Izzy also got some early Christmas presents that she is enjoying- including her baby einstein jumper that allows her to stand all by herself. She is really starting to get the hang of it, and even turned from one side to the other. She LOVES being independant!

Music

Isabelle played her first musical instrument this weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Loscalzo's house :) Grandma sat her down at the piano and played with the keys. Not missing a beat, Isabelle immediately started banging away :)

Happy Baby

She screamed most of her first two months. But her intensity has been well worth it because she is as equally happy and excited now as she was upset in the beginning. Fingers dive into Isabelle's mouth when she is really excited! Enjoy :)

Yummy in my Tummy

Isabelle got her first taste of solid food yesterday :) We are very proud of how she did for her first time. She seemed very interested in mommy and daddy eating lately, so we decided it was time. Excited and eager, Isabelle ate almost an entire serving :)

Rise and Shine :)

Izzy is most definitely a morning person. She almost always sleeps 6-7 hours a night now - and when she wakes up in the morning she is all smiles and giggles. She simply cannot wait to see what the day has in store for her! Watching her beautiful face light up in the morning is the highlight of our days!

FREEDOM!

Isabelle started taking bottles this week!! She used to act like we were trying to kill her when we put a bottle in her mouth - but Daddy kept the faith - and now she takes bottles like a pro :) I am very excited to be able to leave the house for more than two hours at a time - and now I don't have to be worried about going back to work part-time in January!! I have to admit - it makes me just the tiniest bit sad to know that she doesn't always need me every 3 hours... but I'll trade that for being able to FINALLY get my hair cut!!! Yay Isabelle!

Daddy?

It's a little long, but at about 1 minute in, she tries to get out her first word. It's not like any noise she usually makes, and has the same inflection as my "Da--ddy" It doesn't count, but we are getting close- way ahead of schedule of course. Also, she had her 4 month visit to the doctor today, who assured us her weight is gaining exactly as it should, and she is a happy healthy little girl. She is 12lbs 3ounces, and is almost 25 inches.
