Introducing Olivia Hope

Olivia joined our happy family on November 21, 2011.  She was 7lbs 9 oz and 18 inches (although we think the Doctor measured her height wrong in the hospital b/c she was 21 inches 2 days later at the Pediatrician).  Olivia has no signs of a heart condition and is very healthy (PRAISE THE LORD).

Isabelle is over the moon in love with her little sister!  Her excitement was so adorable during their first few meetings.

Olivia is a very sweet baby!  She rarely cries and sleeps pretty well at night.  She is one month old today - and has already accomplished a lot!  She has awesome neck control and has started smiling back at us when we smile at her.  Brian goes back to work tomorrow (eeeeekkkk!), so we'll see how Mommy does with two baby girls at home!  Here is a quick video of our special angel.  God is good!

One Crazy Kid :)

On a play date with Brady at our favorite park.  She saw some older kids doing this on the swings and had to follow suit.  Look at these crazy faces!

Visiting Daddy at Work

Brian has been working so hard these last couple months - picking up overtime whenever possible and swapping days so he can be off more when the baby comes.  Isabelle and Mommy try to visit Daddy at his station when he is gone for over two days..... (and when Mommy's back feels up to it).  Isabelle LOVES Daddy's station - all of the exciting sights, sounds, and games Brian plays with her makes visiting his station one of her most favorite things.

Trick-or-Treat

Isabelle has been so excited about Halloween this year.  I don't think she quite understands holidays yet (as she kept calling it Halloween's birthday) but she loved seeing decorations in our neighborhood and was super excited to go trick-or-treating.  The video above is the first house we went to.  Isabelle did a great job.  However, after we went to about five houses, Isabelle saw a person in a really scary mask, and needless to say that was the end of our night!  I'll be taking her to a church function next year since she didn't handle "scary" well (and had to sleep with Mommy and Daddy last night).

As a side note - she is getting very excited for Olivia's birthday, coming up in less than three weeks now!!! YAY :)

Singing Along with Darby

Isabelle used to be afraid of her awesome talking/ moving Darby doll.  However, in the last week, she has gotten over her irrational fear, and Darby is her new favorite toy.  She loves to sing along with "Think, Think, Think."

Pumpkin Time!!

Isabelle was so excited to carve our pumpkin!!  She is such a joy :)

Florida Family

We love living in Florida :) How amazing is it that we can drive for 15 minutes and be at a decent beach?  EG Simmons Park in Apollo Beach is just perfect for Isabelle.  They have playgrounds right next to the water.  And even though the water is just Tampa Bay, it is still pretty clean, and Izzy loves the watching the waves and throwing the sand.

Toddler Time at the library

We are regular attenders now at toddler time at the library.  Izzy has so much fun watching the other kids and dancing to the songs.  It really is a nice break in the day :)

Busch Gardens

We took Izzy on her first trip to Busch Gardens today!  It actually went really well.  She seemed a little overwhelmed at first - wanting to stay inside her stroller (not normal).  But, she enjoyed the animals and all the new sights and sounds :)

We went to lunch that had a show, and she thought that was AWESOME.  She also loved the tiger display!  We were able to get SO CLOSE to so many beautiful cats. 

Then we took her to the kids area, and she LOVED playing in the water.  

The best video of the day had to be the from the car ride home.  She was so exhausted that she actually fell asleep while she was eating :)

Isabelle ADORES her cousin Katie.  She sees her probably once a month, but talks about her every single day!! She even makes up songs about Katie!  Here she is showing Katie her building skills :)

Introducing Olivia Hope Loscalzo

I cannot begin to describe how excited I am to be able to raise two little girls. I can't wait for all the tea parties, dress up games, glitter, and girly fun!!! Daddy is very excited as well, and he has a good outlook on living in a house full of women! At least our dog is a boy :)

We found out that our baby is a girl at the same appointment that we found out that there are no signs of her having WPW :) So that is good news. It is not a guarantee that she will not have the same heart condition as her sister, but it is a great first step, and we feel extremely blessed.

We will probably have Olivia on November 21, 2011 (11/21/11 is a neat birthday). I am feeling A TON better these last two weeks :) The nausea is completely gone - now let the back aches begin.... It is SOOOO worth it in the end.

Isabelle loves her Daddy a ton! During the baseball game, Mommy was sitting behind Daddy with Isabelle on her lap. Isabelle decided to give Daddy a big hug from behind. While bear-hugging Daddy, she discovered that she could also pull Daddy's hair easily from her vantage point :)

This is the crazy scene from our new backyard today! There were TONS of little finch-like birds everywhere!! Isabelle was very excited and started "tweeting" with them :) We just love our new house and the beautiful neighborhood :)

Isabelle gets EXTREMELY excited to see her grandma and grandpa- but in typical Izzy fashion she gets a little overwhelmed once Grandma actually tries to pick her up. She does it to mommy and daddy too
