I took Olivia to splash in puddles for the first time today. She had so much fun and thought she was so cool!! We had a super temper tantrum when I finally tried to pull her inside the house!

It's No Uniform Friday!

Izzy gets to pick her outfits on Fridays! I help guide her because she would otherwise wear the same princess shirt and size 3t pink skirt (two sizes too small) that she won't let me throw away! Today she threw in her "Izzy" headband. She asked me what I thought. So beautiful and so YOU Izzy!! I'll post the whole outfit later :-)

When Izzy saw Brady today she exclaimed "I've missed you Brady!!" Since Isabelle and Mommy started school, life has been too busy, and we hadn't seen our friends in almost three weeks! !! Izzy and Brady played while Livi collected all of Brady's Jake and the Neverland pirates toys. Livi was in heaven with Jake's sword, spyglass, and pirate ship.

Mommy was in cutie pie heaven holding sweet baby Emily!! She has grown so much, and she studied me with such intensity while I gave her a bottle. I got my baby fix for a while - she is so beautifully cuddly. I wish I had a picture,  but I was too busy rocking her.

Missing My Livi

I haven't seen my sweet baby much these last couple days. Between studying for hours and hours and long classes, I haven't spent more than a few hours in the morning with her. I got home just after 8:00 tonight and Daddy pulled her out of bed for me to cuddle with. She thought she was so cool to be up with Mommy and Daddy after her bedtime. After reading a couple books and cuddling, I rocked her to sleep. She kept patting my back and touching my face. I've missed you too sweet girl.

Sunday Morning with Aunt Lori

Izzy, Livi, and I spent the morning with Aunt Lori. We went to the park, and the girls ate at Steak and Shake for the first time :-) Izzy discovered that she loves corndog nuggets (she cleaned her plate AND ate some of Livi's chicken) and I found out that kids eat free on Sundays!! Bonus!!

Lori and I have been friends for over twenty years- and although we don't see each other on a weekly basis, I know she will drop everything if I need her. There is no greater blessing than a friend like Lori who knows me inside and out because she has been there for all the ups and downs! Oh, and Izzy adores her. You can tell she really wants to impress her by being extra adorable/ polite/ sweet etc.

After a long clinical day - including an intense medication math test - I needed a fun night! Izzy and I had a blast trying out her new goggles. She swam underwater for a lot longer distances!! We had fun looking at each other while blowing bubbles. Izzy's favorite part was yelling "I LOVE YOU! !!" as loud as she could underwater. So fun :-)

Love Izzy's Preschool

In the two weeks she has been attending, I have come to love many things about Izzy's preschool.  One of my favorite things is their VERY active facebook page.  They post pictures everyday showing exactly what their students are participating in and learning in the three Montessori schools in the area.  Izzy has already been in at least five pictures!  It's great to be able to log on to facebook and see my little girl's beaming face. 

She was sick over the weekend and really just started feeling better yesterday.  Her biggest disappointment in being sick? Missing school!  That's a testament to the awesome job her teachers are doing in making her feel special and welcome.  Here's a picture from her class today. They learned all the parts of an apple - labeling and coloring a worksheet - and then they ATE an apple discussing its parts as they munched on sweet goodness! I am so happy with the Montessori method and all the progress my little firecracker is making!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

For Daddy's birthday today we made gluten free lemon sugar cookies - 100% home made. Izzy helped. Yum!!! Jets green of course. We love you so much Daddy! ! You are the best!
