Visiting Daddy at Work

Brian has been working so hard these last couple months - picking up overtime whenever possible and swapping days so he can be off more when the baby comes.  Isabelle and Mommy try to visit Daddy at his station when he is gone for over two days..... (and when Mommy's back feels up to it).  Isabelle LOVES Daddy's station - all of the exciting sights, sounds, and games Brian plays with her makes visiting his station one of her most favorite things.

Trick-or-Treat

Isabelle has been so excited about Halloween this year.  I don't think she quite understands holidays yet (as she kept calling it Halloween's birthday) but she loved seeing decorations in our neighborhood and was super excited to go trick-or-treating.  The video above is the first house we went to.  Isabelle did a great job.  However, after we went to about five houses, Isabelle saw a person in a really scary mask, and needless to say that was the end of our night!  I'll be taking her to a church function next year since she didn't handle "scary" well (and had to sleep with Mommy and Daddy last night).

As a side note - she is getting very excited for Olivia's birthday, coming up in less than three weeks now!!! YAY :)

Singing Along with Darby

Isabelle used to be afraid of her awesome talking/ moving Darby doll.  However, in the last week, she has gotten over her irrational fear, and Darby is her new favorite toy.  She loves to sing along with "Think, Think, Think."

Pumpkin Time!!

Isabelle was so excited to carve our pumpkin!!  She is such a joy :)

Florida Family

We love living in Florida :) How amazing is it that we can drive for 15 minutes and be at a decent beach?  EG Simmons Park in Apollo Beach is just perfect for Isabelle.  They have playgrounds right next to the water.  And even though the water is just Tampa Bay, it is still pretty clean, and Izzy loves the watching the waves and throwing the sand.

Daddy had quite a surprise when he threw something away!  This mama racoon was all bundled up with her babies in this CLOSED garbage can!

Toddler Time at the library

We are regular attenders now at toddler time at the library.  Izzy has so much fun watching the other kids and dancing to the songs.  It really is a nice break in the day :)

Busch Gardens

We took Izzy on her first trip to Busch Gardens today!  It actually went really well.  She seemed a little overwhelmed at first - wanting to stay inside her stroller (not normal).  But, she enjoyed the animals and all the new sights and sounds :)

We went to lunch that had a show, and she thought that was AWESOME.  She also loved the tiger display!  We were able to get SO CLOSE to so many beautiful cats. 

Then we took her to the kids area, and she LOVED playing in the water.  

The best video of the day had to be the from the car ride home.  She was so exhausted that she actually fell asleep while she was eating :)

What a fun day!!
